The poster Gnostic Christian Bishop often makes threads opposing religion. However, as I noted in another thread, it's very difficult to get people to change thier way of life because it's embedded in thier culture. In fact, it's interesting to note that opposing someone's culture is a sure way to be massively hated.
For instance, a lot of people hate gays in the southern USA. Nonetheless, they would hate radical athiests, or someone self righteously critical of racism or homophobia far worse. In reality, a person could be openly gay in the USA, even in small towns, as long as they didn't come across as a "smarty pants" who was highly critical of popular culture.
If anyone doesn't think this is true, then feel free to get on Facebook and post opinions critical of the culture in your hometown. Note the result, especially if the criticism is of the mocking variety.
