It's not hard to debate what they have to say, and you don't have to be very far left to do it.

Are Rush and Palin saying the same thing? If they are, and if the Republicans want to run Palin for president in '12, does that mean that Rush is really the voice of the Republican party? Are they all behind the Limbaugh Letter?

Oh, let's bring up a Limbaugh talking point and debate it honestly. Was it Rush, or was it Hannity who said that "climategate" proves that there is a conspiracy of scientists to establish a socialist world government? Is that or is it not a Rush issue?

Or, if you think that is a strawman, let's pick another Rush issue and see how hard it is to shred.

The caller, gosh I felt sorry for him. His voice was weak and he sounded ...

I dont know but I felt sorry for him.

The caller called Rush a Nazi and the caller said we killed people with torture and Rush agreed with torture.

The poor guy.

I think Rush was of course right in everything he said but I think he should have been nicer in the way he said it. But I would probably snap too if someone called me a Nazi and said I liked torture.

I hope that guy has someone taking care of him, I felt sorry for him

Glenn Beck is not geting heat for his working for the company Goldline...while on his tv and radio show....telling his listeners to buy gold...talking about the 3 g's to survive...God Gold Guns...ext....and at the same time reporting how bad the econ is going to get and how the debt will get worse and worst and our money worthless...so buy gold ext.....

I myself have heard him talk about gold before, both on TV and I recall possibly on the radio at work before as well ( yes had on conservitive talk radio on)

questions
1. Can anyone who follows him close tell me if he has ever stated that he works for Goldline and is paid by them , in his show...to warn of a possibly conflict of interest in his "news" ? or viewpoint?
2. If not, or maybe even if...do you think news people ( even if he is less news, more talk and opinion) should be promoting a product on there show like this, with out saying they have a conflict of interest.


Also note, even if he truly belives in Gold, should that change the fact there is still the perception of conflict of interst?

Fox News has claimed they do not let there news/commentators do such a thing, but suggested that becuse of Becks Radio program they can not do anything about it....as if that means they can't make m some say something...or not something on the Air on Fox....I don't quite get there point there.

the problem is when you are on the air, selling a product...but then reporting the news as well...when that news Directly impacts sales....IS Randy Rhodes doing reports in her show about Flowers and beds? and not saying she is paid for them? but doing it as part of a news artical? then yes that is wrong...

And Glenn is on his show, pushing for econ news and pushing people that the econ is so bad they should buy gold...and I guess its odd I think the people should have the right to know that he is paid by a gold company and have a vested interest in his opinions in that regard.

Well Rush is hurting things for moderate republicans and rino republicans but I am glad for that, many conservatives are.

Thats odd, since we have prosecuted people for war crimes for doing it..and the reason we do it to out own troops ( and no it is not the same, as they know who is doing it and why, and that they are not going to be killed ect) and aslo its very clear that you have not followed the story, or you would know that we have done alot more then that.

I know that the guy who cut off danny pearls head and helped plann 911 was waterboarded over 100 times and a gun was shot off in the room but not at him to scare him and another guy had a catapiliar put on him and he was afraid of bugs... stuff like that, but no murder or killing them that I know of.
