There was no way that anyone could attack the UN. The UN was not present in the area. In 1948 the Palestinians were mostly noncombatants. They were not organized they had no real leaders, and they were not armed. The fighting was between the five Arab Armies (Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, and they also were not organized. The Egyptians grabbed Gaza, the Jordanians grabbed the West Bank and that remained the situation until the 1967 War.

The Arabs were as justified as the Israelis in attacking, they just were not so good at it.

Frequent and ongoing evacuation orders continue to uproot both families and food relief operations intended to support them, the agency reported.

Last week, WFP lost access to its third and last operational warehouse in Gaza’s middle area, while five of WFP’s operated community kitchens had to be evacuated.

“This week, on Sunday 25 August, the evacuation orders impacted the main WFP operating hub in Deir Al-Balah, forcing our team to relocate for the third time since the war started,” the agency said, calling on all parties to respect international humanitarian law, ensure the protection of humanitarian workers, and uphold their commitment to facilitating the delivery of vital and lifesaving aid.

I question the allegation that all these people are waiting in line to buy a banana. Bananas are NOT a common staple of the Russian diet. If the people running Cuba were in any way intelligent, they should have planted vast amounts of bananas to exchange for petroleum from Russia, but alas! they missed the opportunity. It takes more infrastructure to market bananas than the Cubans seem capable of. No one likes black bananas, they like fresh yellow ones. In this they resemble the Minions (and well, everyone else as well).

No, Israel is STUPID to attempt to kill all the Palestinians that want them gone, as that includes by now, nearly all Palestinians. Now they are attacking the West Bank Palestinians as well.

It seems that the goal is to make Gaza and the West Bank uninhabitable for the Palestinians. I don't think they will succeed. Once Israel has another election, Netanyahu and his ultra rightwing ministers will likely be defeated.

After all, Oct 7th happened because Netanyahu failed to defend his borders. It is also true that Netanyahu provoked the Gazans too much. Hamas and Netanyahu were unholy allies, because they both were opposed to a two state solution, and Israel looked the other way when vast amounts of resources were imported to build the tunnels and to arm Hamas.

Obviously, it lacks "Chinese characteristics". Since 1986 or so, the People's Republic of China came from an economy smaller than Italy to second place on the planet using "Communism with Chinese characteristics". It managed to do this in under 30 years. You can call the PRC oppressive (even though it has a smaller percentage of people in prison than the US), but you cannot call it economically unsuccessful.
