Meanwhile now that his rating is starting to drop the press is reporting that his rating is "normalizing."

We can hope for the sake of the country that his stimulus/spending package does not pass. But if it does we can all hope that he OWNS the stimulus package and that he is the only person who is associated with it. That way when the "chickens come home to roost" he will be solely responsible.

Im with you Dr. Who, If this has to pass (and I hope it does not) its obama's baby and no one but him and his minions can be blamed for the horrible failure it will be.

If the stimulus/spending bill is real real good then obviously P. Obama should want to take all the credit for it. He could virtually destroy the republicans who oppose it. So why is he so interested in getting bipartisan support for a bill that is 100% partisan? How can he possibly imagine that not supporting a partisan bill is a failure to be bipartisan? Bipartisanship is when both parties support a bill that is deemed to be beneficial by both parties.

Well of course it will pass. Not a single republican vote is needed to pass it. so obviously when republicans refuse to support socialist legislation they are not being obstructionist because the don't have the power to obstruct anything.

Now when democrats obstructed the appointment of judges who had nothing wrong with them, that was obstructionism.

I'm glad to see some Republicans coming over in the Senate. The Obstructionist Republican Party held progress up for the last 8 years now we will move forward for all American people and not just those in high places!

Americans voted twice in a row now to kick the old tired worn out lies & smears of the Obstructionist Party to the curb... and they knew exactly what they were doing and why they were doing it!

But now if little by little some moderate Republicans choose to be part of the process and actually help get legislation passed that's what President Obama really wants. We all can work together. Yes the Democrats won big but if we can find some common ground in these terribly bad times we can come out of this stronger as a nation and maybe a little more united as well.
