That brings the total now to 57, the number of companies that have asked Faux News not to run their ads during Beck's chalkboard teaching exercise.

What I find particularly odd, is the number of his worshipers who fan out the following day and repeat what he taught them, yes on the chalkboard, virtually verbatim the following day.

And they accuse Obama's followers of being brainwashed? LOL

Eleven new companies whose ads were recently seen during Beck’s program—Binder & Binder, Capital One, The Dannon Company, Discover, HSBC, ICAN Benefit Group Insurance, Infiniti, Jelmar (manufacturer of CLR All-Purpose Cleaner), Jordan McKenna Debt Counseling Network, Mercedes-Benz and Simplex Healthcare (creator of the Diabetes Care Club) —have pledged to ColorOfChange.org to take steps to ensure that their ads don’t run on Beck’s show. Fifty-seven companies have now committed not to support Beck’s show since ColorOfChange.org launched its campaign four weeks ago after the Fox News Channel host called President Obama a “racist” who “has a deep-seated hatred for white people” during an appearance on Fox & Friends.

If the goal is to make Fox hurt on its bottom line, then you are doing a terrible job because they have not lost any revenue from this.

If 100 companies "ditch" Beck, but continue to advertise on Fox's other shows and pay the same amount of money, then who cares?

realy did you look at the financal returns on advertising in the last month or something? Just seems odd that you would know its not hurting. And just because a add is aired, does not mean they did not make less money for it. If you had 10 companies paying to run adds at 745pm , they pay more to have that time slot...10 other companies may by air time, and pay less, but have no say what time of day Fox Airs them....you lose 5 of the 7:45 adds and replace them with 5 of the any time adds....and yes you still had 10 ads....but you made alot less money. truth is, you have no idea how its effecting there income from ads during the show.

The good it does is this... It sends a strong and righteous message.

If the Klan had a show on FOX the idea would be that advertisers wouldn't want to be associated with the Klan. Whether FOX still made money or not is irrelevant.

This pull out does make a difference and I commend every single advertiser that stood up and said this crazy Beck guy is a bridge too far!

I'll leave the final analysis up to Red State Update...:D

Even the Huffington Post says it will have little if any impact.

Additionally, Fox stated that it has had no impact on their revenues.

Do you ever watch the show? I DVR it and watch it every day. The company's you posted in the past who left are STILL doing ads on his program (radio and TV)

I think someone is pulling your leg because those ads are still on. I wish there were no ads, just show the dang program instead.

Why does fox need to worry. MSNBC and CNN suck!

since you are so fast on bashing beck.... have you been able to disprove anything he says.

he lays out the facts, so even the lamest liberal can understand them. of course... it's easier to attack him than to disprove the facts.

Facts are Facts.

huffington does not know, and I know this is shocking, but Fox would not say if it did...

Huffington can probably make a better guess than most of us.

As for Fox, if they were actually losing a ton of money over the issue, don't you think they would be looking to replace Beck with someone who can make money?

no becuse they know it will blow over in time, but short term it could hurt income, long term they know the right loves there crybaby and he is good overall for them still.

His ratings apparently went up after the boycott, and the potential for those companies wishing to support him rushing to fill any void (which really does not exist) could end up benefiting the company overall.

Who cares how many Left leaning businesses dislike Beck! I trust BECK much more than I do our radical left President who appoints known communist , socialist , and others with ANTI- AMERICAN agendas . It is very clear to the Majority that we made a HUGE error by electing one who supports our enemies instead of our country . AMERICA will be very lucky to survive this man . His harmful acts are widespread and in the end will cause our nation
to fold . Now , he is going after our school children and try to shape their minds to fit his radical leftist ideas. How did America do this ?

its possible but thing is people think ratings = money...it does not...most of the time yes, but not always. Ratings went up for Politically Incorrect...but companies pulled adds still...show got canned....
