I find myself hitting the "mute buton " everytime obama is on TV and lying about everything . His face and huge ears just were not made for family television . His lies and his stutter gives the impression of being retarded.Now I believe that is indeed TORTURE to the viewer and his coming on television should be proceeded with a public announcement concerning the dangers . Yes, I agree Bush was not pleasant to watch , especially in his second term went he went very liberal on us . Still, I never thought Bush wanted America to fall,, he just became afraid to do his job . Obama is against America!! that is a very important difference that will be made very plain to all and soon! I know obama voters who refuse to watch him now because it makes them so angry.

I watched every single thing I could find he said through the primarys and for the first like 2 months but even though I am a political junkie I really cant watch him that much anymore. Their worst fear has arrived. The Democrats have a leader that can actually lead. He's smart, very smart and he's pragmatic. He's informed them, in front of the nation, that when they lie he'll call them out on it. And worst of all, he's an American of color.

The current crop of Republicans really hates an America that could elect such a person. They really hate an America that could feel compassion for our neighbors. They really hate an America that has a social conscience, displayed in actions,.They hate an America that wants to be morally responsible, not just in words, but in actions. It's best illustrated by the town hall crowd in Oklahoma City that actually applauded when Republican Senator Tom Coburn informed a sobbing woman who's insurance company had denied coverage for her husband's brain trauma, and a nursing care facility had moved him out informing them, "You're on your own.", that the government had no responsibility to help her.

That's who they have become. But the good news is, they were rejected in 2008 and they're in the minority, and it's a dwindling minority. Maybe it wouldn't be such a bad thing if the Texas Republicans got what they wanted and they were allowed to secede from the United States, creating a haven they could all flock to. It's just a hunch, but I kind of think the remaining Americans would suddenly become huge supporters of border security.

Greco, I will agree with you on one thing, I do believe healthcare does need to be reformed, but this Obama care is all wrong for our country. They need to fix Medicaid first and foremost and do something about tort reform, but these liberals refuse to because most politicians are all blood sucking lawyers. Put these people on medicaid... I really don't want to pay for healthcare going to a crack addict. Me and my husband work to hard for what we have...

I have no problem with PBO - I think his face has tremendous character and appeal. His eyes are warm and inviting. Something about his mouth when he's talking that bugs me, but that's no biggie.

What I find torture is his constant buck-passing to his inherited problems. Enough, they're yours now, so deal with it. 'You asked for the job, so shut up and do it. Quit making excuses.'

Every time I hear "Let me be clear" or similar phrase, I perk my ears for the surefire obfuscation or lie that is coming. And I hit the rewind to pick up the one I missed when he says "Period!"

I strive mightily to listen to the President when he speaks. But this has been absolutely overkill. I'd much prefer to form my own opinions about what he has to say, but find that the sheer volume of his interviews, press conferences, and appearances is simply overwhelming.

I find that watching anything that makes my mind feel like it's full of cotton and my eyes to glaze over is torture. Golf is right up there, along with watching grass grow and paint drying...

If they're running all his televised appearances in Gitmo, we're going to have a new wave of prisoner abuse claims in no time! At this rate, they'll be signing up to get in on the water-boarding outings...

While I don't always agree with what Obama is advocating, it is still a lot easier to watch him give a speech than it ever was to watch and listen to his predecessor abuse the English language while mouthing platitudes and repeating "9/11" over and over whenever the subject of the invasion of Iraq came up. Just knowing that Bush claimed to be a conservative while running up a ten trillion dollar deficit made my stomach turn. Obama is no fiscal conservative either, of course, but then he never claimed to be any kind of conservative.

He can even say "nuclear".
