Daley Warns Libs

I am sorry , but no they are not. I know it pains you to find out the Free market actuly fails at things, and goverment is actuly needed for somethings...but does not make it Marxist...it makes it realistic.

also when was addressing your statements ignorance , changing the subject? Last I checked, that was in fact..the Subject

Well you missed it again.

The government take over of GM and others is actually Fascism.

Obama-ration-healthcare is Marxist. Just for the record - you know.

And again, its all Bush's fault anyway.

I like how the resident came to realize that he did not have to commit Chinese dollars just to manipulate corporations when he enshrined his pay tsar. I keep reading a re-reading the Constitution and am unable to find this authority but I'm sure I'll find it some day.

sorry about the "resident", not intentional I just type poorly

Minnesota Democratic Sen. Al Franken won his seat by 312 votes out of nearly 3 million cast, which means that if just 157 Franken voters had chosen Republican Norm Coleman instead, Franken would not be in the Senate.

What if that had happened? Or what if the Bush Justice Department had not wrongly prosecuted Republican Sen. Ted Stevens on corruption charges, leading to his conviction just days before voters went to the polls? Or what if a conservative third-party candidate had not funneled thousands of votes away from Oregon Republican Sen. Gordon Smith?

If any one of those races had turned out differently, there would be one more Republican in the Senate, and we might not be facing a far-reaching, coercive and cripplingly expensive makeover of the nation's health care system. But the close ones went the Democrats' way, which -- along with the defection of former Republican Sen. Arlen Specter -- gave Democrats the 60 votes needed to stop GOP filibusters all by themselves.

I would agree that the Rs are responsible for the horrendous socialistic legislation now being pushed by the Dems. Had the Rs stuck with conservative principles, BO would not be Pres and they would not be in the minority. W is responsible for much of this.

But now as Daley cites in his column, the Dems are over reaching which will result in their demise - hopefully.

And in this case, it really is W's fault.

yes, W taking the GOP to dem-lite was intended to make the left obsolete. It only drove them to the fringe and a clever campaign stategy that took advantage of Obama's melainin and an in the tank media was all she wrote.

The GOP's problem is not, as lefties like to think, being too conservative, it was they were not conservative enough.

Now the Mushy Middle is watching the governent's hand reaching out for their wallets and are shuffling back right fast as they can.

2010 should be very interesting if the GOP will suck it up and jettison the bums and return to thir principles.
