Many of which were once democrats. You belong with the republicans if democrats were actually liberal. The whole party will continue to have these beliefs well after he’s gone and the system itself created Trump. So as long as our system stays the same we will always have people like him take over here and there and perhaps finally. It’s idiotic to think you can defeat Trumpism with weak ass people like Joe Biden. The only way to truly defeat Trumpism is for democrats to actually show enough people they’re better for them than republicans or being apolitical. So far regardless of what you personally believe they haven’t done that obviously. They just proved this past year that morally they’re the same as republicans in regards to our Zionist ally committing a genocide while they look the other way for the donors. Many progressives have been traumatized and will never forget or forgive democrats for this. So the democrats lost a lot of people from their strongest base of support and now they want to fill the void with neo-cons who only don’t like Trump because he turned on them or something.

I was disgusted by that particularly. To say everyone from Bernie Sanders to Dick Cheney like it’s something to be proud of made me want to vomit. Two politicians that should never be used in the same sentence like that. What the fuck was he thinking? This is all clearly what the donors want him to say. They don’t care if it looks sensible. It’s just sad to watch.
Well Taylor Swift is irrelevant to me. I try to avoid her being part of the discussion if I can. But Dick Cheney should be the antithesis of any liberal. I lost faith in the democrats completely (if I hadn’t already) when he said that. And he’s the one who’s supposed to be the better communicator than Kamala.
Yeah that’s all clear to me now. I voted for Obama, Hillary and Biden the three times I’ve been able to vote in my adulthood and I wasn’t aware of how bad the democrats have gotten until 2020 when Biden was running for president and Bernie got screwed over again. I was pissed off then that Biden was going to be the candidate but then Bloomberg got in the race which made him look better by comparison and then Covid happened and I think those two factors played into Biden winning last time. This time the democrats most likely won’t have my support and I assume there’s many like me. If they want all hands on deck to beat Trump then they’re doing a really shitty job courting republicans and Dick Cheney instead of their own voters who they are losing.
