What do you think of this hypotherical?

It looks like boy wonder continues to dip in the polls and Good ol' Mac is in the news more and more after making a very gutsy decision. There's still many of Hillary's followers pissed off about how the media treated Hillary and Obama not picking her.
So there's a good chance that McCain may come from behind and still this whole thing.

I don't think that he would want to run for another term, so that lives Palin as the runner for the Republican party.

So it'll be Hillary VS Palin in 2012!!!

O wow that'll be interesting lol. Neither will be able to play the gender card or go the "First woman in the whitehouse" route. That election may ACTUALLY be about the issues if we're extremely lucky

If McCain's health doesn't allow him to run in '12, then we could see a race between Palin and Clinton. If it does, then we're more likely to see a race between him and Clinton.

Of course, there will be other hopefuls as well, and there is that pesky business of winning the primary, at least for Palin or Clinton.

It would be an interesting race, wouldn't it? Which of them do you think would have a shot at straightening out the mess that is likely to be made by whoever wins this time around, along the mess that the '08 winner is likely to inherit?
