I don't see why everyone is all up in arms about the issue that Bachmann takes farm subsidies...

If she wants to compete, she basically has to, it is not like her competitors won't take them if she doesn't. The whole system basically ensures that you will take them.

Additionally, it is not really all that hypocritical to argue something should be ended, but partake in it. After all, I want lower taxes, am I a hypocrite because a pay the legal rate required? No.

I think the earned income credit is criminal I never pay in federal taxes, by the time I do my taxes, I get back everything I paid into it then extra for what ever reason. A couple thousand extra! I think its wrong to make wealthy people pay more so lower income people like me can pay not just nothing but get something back that is more than I paid in the first place,

The plans thrown around call for only $4 trillion in cuts over ten years. That means only $400 billion a year (ignoring of course the $2.4 trillion in new spending,) so really we cut $160 billion a year when it's all said and done.

Even if you raise taxes by $5 trillion (a huge number), we end up with a budget deficit of still $600 billion. Where are those cuts going to come from?

For many people (especially mothers with young children), it cost them MORE to go to work than it would to stay home and get wefare.

So, the earned income rebate is a way to compensate for this.

Then why did Juan Williams get fired of NPR with that Muslim comment? Hes right you know and most people agree with him being scared when an Arab gets on the plane. People are scared because of 9/11. And why did IMUS get fired of MSNBC what her said about womens basketball? Nobody really watch womens basketball and hes right about that one.You see Liberals have their own set of rules. so its not worth it for them to go to work..so we pay them a bit extra was the post...my idea is...drop the min wage...pay them like 3 bucks a hour ( bachmann and other Republicans think its a fair pay if someone will take it)...and all those low cost jobs can lower a bit as well then....making it so they have even less reason to take a job...so we don't have to give them a EIC...see...the problem is that there are to many poor people making small amounts of money...its costing us to much on the EIC. we make the poor just go from poor to homeless with no job..and save money!

I am sure Bachmann would understand and agree with my logic

I do not understand this desire by so many to see some sort of a race to the bottom on wages. What is the Holy Grail of making the boss rich by taking our wages for himself? Where is the win in destroying the middle class?

Its not Mindless,,Look at the classy comedians in history. Take Johnny Carson for example.. Not once he ever used a sexest joke. If that was the case why didnt he say any negitive joke about Sandra Day OConner? Wanna know why he couldnt? Cause the F.C.C had restrictions back in those days. Samething back in the 50s that Newscasts couldnt be negitive. Back in the 50s there were no liberal biased media. The F.C.C was very strict about that too. Ever since deregulation took place TV has been biased all around. You see what happens when you give too much freedom to the press? Its time to go back to 1950s regulations you know the good old televison code where you have board of censors to approve before the show gets aired.

I don't think its meant to help out with baby sitting since I get to deduct my babysitting fee's also

a reward for working instead of watching TV? Why should other citizens be forced to reward me for doing the right thing? That seems odd to me.

a few years from now, when my child is not at home anymore I will not be rewarded for doing the right thing anymore with OPM.

I always use it to pay down Credit Cards. If the credit is there I am going to take it, I am just saying I don't think it's right to force some people to pay so others cannot just not pay but get a few thousand more than they actually paid in.

I don't believe in the tax credit for buying a government approved car either but if I ever bought a government approved car, I would take the credit even though I think that the credit should not be there to start with.
