We have been hearing how close they were at least since 2012.

It was precisely what should have been done, because the interest on the money owned to Iran was pegged to a predefined figure in the contract that the US signed with the government of Iran. The interest on the confiscated money, which belonged to Iran was far more than the actual amount confiscated in 1977.

The US has to comply with the trade deals it promises to respect, like every country. You are to ignorant to understand this and continue to harp on it.

Maybe I misunderstood him like so many democrats consistently misunderstand President Trump. Are you saying Biden indicated he would support an Israeli attack on Iran's nuclear weapons facilities?

The Iran deal was not a treaty and had not been endorsed by American voters or Congress. But democrats don't honor treaties or agreements anyway if a democrat leader decides he does not want to honor them. Clinton got Ukraine to give up its nuclear weapons in exchange for protestions from Russia with the Budapest agreement, but when Russia attacked Ukraine during the Obama reign we saw King Obama totally ignore American promises. Obama had a pen and a phone and didn't need no damn body, not Congress, not courts, and especially not the American people telling him what to do.
