nothing new here, he's been providing ammunition aplenty

an example or two

The new GOP playbook is designed to take one of Obama’s great assets — the power of his oratory — and turn it into a liability. It details hundreds of potential targets, partially a result of a president who Republican strategists say is unusually prone to making detailed promises.

A 2009 Obama statement that his stimulus bill would lift 2 million Americans out of poverty, for example, is paired against census data showing that more than 6 million Americans have fallen into poverty since he took office. A pledge that an administration housing plan would “help between 7 and 9 million families restructure or refinance their mortgages” is paired against news reports showing the government spent far less than promised and aided fewer than 2 million.

Well we know what the MSM will do if the R nominee hits BO hard on his record. They will say its dirty politics. That it is so wrong...but they love it when Rs do it to each other.

handy compilation from Boortz

you can bemoan his rhetoric but the facts are the facts and there is no changing them

Delusional Democrats like Debbie Wasserman Shultz and Barney Frank are still trying to claim that Barack Obama has turned the tide of this economy. And I’m still trying to claim that I have a full head of hair.
DitzyDebbie says that Obama will be re-elected … wait for it … “because of his policies.” His policies? His biggest legislative accomplishment – ObamaCare – only has 29% of America’s support. DitzyDebbie goes on to say that “he has brought this country out of the worst economic disaster that we faced since the Great Depression and the people of America know.” Barney Frank slobbered about how Obama has made a bad economy better. Better? Let’s take a look at a few facts, shall we?
  • The unemployment rate for African-Americans, 96% of who voted for Obama, stands at 15.5% as of last month, while Hispanics, who pulled the lever for Obama at a clip of 67%, have an unemployment rate of 11.4%. When Obama took office, those rates stood at 12.7% and 9.9%, respectively. (American Thinker)
  • The typical American household will have spent $4,155 filling up their gas tanks this year, a record. That is 8.4 percent of what the median family takes in, the highest share since 1981. (MSN Money)
  • Since President Obama took office the nation has lost 1.9 million jobs and the unemployment rate has increased from 7.8 percent to 8.6 percent. (RedState)
  • Since Obama took office, the national debt has increased by over $4.5 trillion, an increase of over 42%. (RedState)
  • The cost of health insurance skyrocketed in 2011 after several years of relatively small increases. (RedState)
Only 17% of Americans are satisfied the way things are going, which is the same percentage as when Obama came into office. Obama’s approval rating is lower than his disapproval rating. Do the American people really see him as the leader of a great economy turnaround?
