Extremism in any form is a disease. I think of it in a very similar light to alcoholism or drug addiction. It is extremist behaviour which is a form of mental illness.
It is not okay to impose one's views on those who are not interested. Newsflash! There is not one "correct" religion. We each interpret what we believe through our experiences and our upbringing. There is not one form of extremism or addiction (yes! I consider religion an addiction) that is less harmful than another.
It just saddens me that something that is supposed to be about love is really about hate.
