This may shock you but the pigs who control congress don’t give a dime about the people. They care about their selves.

It would be stupid to just trust them to make a bill and pass it. They have shown they can’t be trusted. It would be worse to pass this bill if it’s not going to help than it would be to wait and try and get a real bill. Republicans should not put their name on a democrat bill that does nothing but pay off people who helped the egg head get elected. If they are going to put their name on it they better be sure it’s a bill worth supporting.

The last bail out was huge; we have no real idea how the money was spent but IT DID NOT DO ANY GOOD! Now they want a bigger bill full of absolute crap for their friends and you want it to just pass without question.

They can pass their stinking bill without one republican vote, in fact without even 11 Dems voting for it in the house

The senate needs 1 maybe 2 republicans and to pass it, but obama is trying to get more republicans to vote for it so when it fails and it will, he can say it was a bi partisan failure.

Most of those jobs would fall in the "govt" sector which makes government biggeer and takes more revenue from the private sector.

We need to get job growth in private sector to truly do something worthwhile to stimulate.

If the Dems and the egg head leading them are so confidant that this pork bill is going to work then they should not want any more republicans to vote for it then they need for it to pass so they can have all the credit.

They need zero in the house and 1 or 2 in the senate. They have at least that many rino’s in the senate to vote with them.

So let them pass it on their own and quit trying to drag republicans in the mud with them. so when they fail they fail on their own.

I agree with you, I think if he could stop saying such things people would not be so afraid and start getting back to normal. I planned to buy a new couch, go on a trip to Seattle for a long weekend and a few other things that I am not going to do as long as he makes everything sound so dire.

That's all the Right really can do... BE OBSTRUCTIONISTS! In fact they may have to officially change their name from the Republican Party to THE OBSTRUCTIONIST PARTY.

Look the truth is the Obstructionists had total control for the first almost 7 years of Bush's 8 years in office and even the last couple years as the American people began their preference change back to Democratic candidates the Dems still didn't have the numbers to make the big changes needed.

I appreciate President Obama wanting to try and work with Republicans and he will find a few moderates that will work together. But at the end of the day he's the President and his Party holds both Houses of Congress for a reason... THEY WON!!! They've earned a chance to change many of the Republican's obviously bad decisions!
