In WWII, every American was invested in winning the war in SOME WAY.

With sweat, blood, treasure and/or tears.

THIS is a generalized characterization of who we were in 1948, only three years after VJ Day. It's a depiction of who we were as a people, and how we were.

Republicans and Democrats.

But the people who you want to believe are on the winning side of history today fall short of the characteristics displayed in this short film.

I could imagine any of these people claiming to be on the winning side.

But look at today's Democrats.

They would declare a Dr. Utopia their leader if he was running today.
