Americans do not like to admit they are racists. But they are. Mark says that it is good that some people are Black because it helps him determine if they are in proper place in society. By which he means something like "hewers of wood and bearers of water". They used to be slaves and they should be grateful that they no longer are born into slavery. But they need to recognize that they are inferior. God forfend that Oprah or Whoopie or Kamala should be given equal status.

I hate to tell you this but all skin colors are raciest to some extent . I have met raciest blacks whites Latinos Arabs etc . We should all be gratefull because most races or religions have been slaves of someone at one time otr another

The major problem for the average citizen is envy, rather than greed. They cannot stand it when someone they perceive of as of a lesser social status than they are gets what they perceive of as more than they deserve. It is a juvenile attitude. My experience is that the percentage of White Americans with racial attitudes is higher than that of Black people. As for Latinos, each nationality sees social pecking order differently.

We should judge people on their character and their talents rather than on race or class.
The less people know, the more likely they think they know it all.
When people are better educated, they are more likely to judge values logically rather than emotionally, based on what people "deserve".

Many people in MAGA are so stupid they are unaware of how stupid they are.
