According to a Pew Poll released today, the American public has little interest in Palin and her book. Plus, they've been hearing way too much about the Alaskan quitter in the media.

Only two percent of respondents said that news of Palin and her new book, "Going Rogue," was the story they followed "most closely" this past week. Only ten percent said they were following it "very closely." Compare that to the 41 percent who said that the health care reform debate was their top story and 18 percent who said the same about the swine flu epidemic.

Pushing the point a bit further, Pew discovered that: "Most Americans (52%) say they have been hearing too much about Palin, while 26% say they have been hearing the right amount and 13% say they have been hearing too little about her. Far more say they are hearing too much about Palin now than in July, after her surprise resignation as Alaska's governor (38%)."

There seems to be more than enough of them on the shelf at all the stores I go to. At the outdoor retail store that I work part time, they have not sold a single copy. Granted it is much more of a hunting and fishing store than books, but we have a very solid conservative customer base and despite having 13 arrive on release date, not a single one has moved.

You said that Americans have little interest in the book but the poll said that few Americans thought the book was a story that they followed most closely - big difference. It would seem that many Americans do have at least little interest in the book and no doubt quite a few have more than little interest.

It makes perfect sense that more people would have a stronger interest in stopping a socialist takeover than in a book.

It would also be true that most Americans think they have been hearing to much about Palin, partly, because the "Lamestream" media spends to much time trying to find ways to malign Palin.

So which lie were you talking about when you characterized a whole book as lying?
