I had the exact same experience. I met a girl at work who was voting for Obama. When I asked her why, her response was along these lines:

"Well I just like what he says. I think he'll fix stuff"

I proceeded to inquire about what "stuff" he'd fix, and she could not even name one single item that he'd fix, but she was positive he'd change things. I thought she'd ignorantly claim the war or the economy, but nope... she could not name ANYTHING.... but she was sure he'd fix it, whatever "it" was.

Do we need to post the Howard Stern clip again? Obama followers have proven to me to be the least informed people I've ever met.

Oh btw, I happen to shoot an Email off to a pastors wife, and asked her what she thought of Obama. She listed off 5 policies he supports, why they were bad for the nation, how they would negatively effect the economy, along with her personal view that didn't include superficial 'hope' and 'change'. She was more informed than many conservatives I've met.

As a final note, I don't know any conservatives who think Obama is a Muslim. I do know about 5 or 6 democrats who think he's a Muslim, and a dozen more who voted for him specifically because they thought he was Muslim. So your own example reflects more on Obama supporters than conservatives or republicans.

I dont think most people who claim to be christian are really christian. I have only met a small handful of people in my life that I thought were what they said they were, and that does not just apply to christians.


Its my opinion he isnt a muslim or christian or jew or any of the above, he could be but I dont see it. And I dont say that about just him, I say that about many many people I know

I know a Bush supporter who voted for him because he was pro choice, do I have to sit and go threw all the dumb reasons I have talked to people who supported Bush/McCain so I can just say that they are all that dumb? cuz I can. but its really pointless.

I know some dumb republicans too. But so far the ratio is around 20 to 1. I mean, look at this forum. We have people here who voted for Obama because evil Bush caused huge deficits, blew tons of money on a bailout. Now Obama, says he's going to ignore the deficits and blow more money on a bail out.

They never had a clue what he stood for, now he makes them all look like idiots. Well... actually he just pointed out the truth.

Now what should I conclude when for the last year or so, I've heard the repeated wailing and screaming about deficits and of course the recent bail out, and now Obama supports the very things they screamed and whined about? Conclusion... democrats are ignorant.

Do tell, what alternative view do you have? You tell me what I'm supposed to do with "Obamabot: Bush is horrible because he caused deficits!" and "Obama: we should ignore deficits and resume spending!"? How do you reconcile this?
