However, while it has been the Democratic Party that has installed most of the socialism in this country, realizing that the Republicans have done the same a few times, I have seen no effort on the part of the Republicans to repeal, or eliminate, any of those programs. The "reform" they have instituted has only resulted in more spending in other sectors.

Look at what they are now proposing with healthcare. It is not to repeal government interference in the health care industry, it is only to repeal the monstrosity of the Democrats, and replace it with one of their own.

Your problem is you just listen to the wheels grinding in your own brain. Also, you continue the STUPID monolithic characterization of republicans. Conservatives at this site, including me, have fully blamed the RINOs, Bush being an example, for their irresponsibility regarding spending, and in fact did for his whole tenure. The one group who is saying "STOP IT", the tea party, is nonetheless roundly ridiculed and defamed by liberals like you, giving the lie to your pose as born-again anti-debt advocates. Can't have it both ways.

Damn the irony in this post... You complain about being falsely characterized and yet within your own post you mis-label me? As for me mis-labeling you all I see is GOP bucket carrying. Your problem is that you believe any and all criticism toward the Tea Party or GOP must be from a liberal. Really the only difference between you and I is when I say I want smaller goverment and fiscal conservitism I actually mean it, it is just lip service. There is hardly a fiscal conservative within the Republican Party.
