What item causes most fires in your home?

    Youll be suprised what i learned about house fires. Your ceiling fan is the #1 cause of house fires then ovens,Stoves and TVs.

    the lighter I use to ignite the gas logs but you are right to point out ceiling fans are something to be mindful of.

    Never use ceiling fan at night or when youre not in the room. Use air conditioning its much safer. Like if you leave your home,, turn air conditioner on at 76 degrees. Then when you come back turn air up at 79 and turn fan on. and never go outside when fan is on. Its just plan common sence. And when you go to bed turn air down to 76 and turn fan off. youll stay cooler too

    Houses in NY are exploding. Something to do with salt water getting into the electrial wiring.

    the moral of the story is don't buy cheap fans and if they EVER start making an dd noise, its time to replace them.
