With not one single GOP vote for the hc bill (which is now Law)...In hindsight....was your party's "Just Say No"....tactic a good one? Do you think it helped your party's chances in future elections?

How can you say democrats wanted republicans involved if every meeting was in closed locked rooms.

Makes it hard to participate when your not invited.

What good did Clinton do for the country?

He illegally obtained raw date FBI files on his opponenets; he illegally fired Billy Dale, and the Travel Office staff; he gave China MFN; he signed NAFTA, and GATT2/WTO setting the stage for the economic growth of China; he sold to China classified high speed computers, and allowed them to obtain a top secret missle guidance system through Doral Corp., and then stopped an investigation into that; he unConstitutionally bombed Serbia in violation of the War Powers Act; he did nothing to prevent terrorist acts against the US; and when he left office he stole furniture, and other items, and his staff trashed the offices; and then there was Monica.

Yep. He was surely someone you could be proud of.

I still hear people on Washington Journal saying the Republicans had no alternative even though they introduced a bill last April which the Dims rejected out of hand.

Reality, and truth, is never a consideration for these people. Only their acceptance of any freebie offered, and the lies told to persuade them to accept it.

Your talking about heavy handed RNC. What about Pelosi , Reid and Obama, forcing the democrats to vote for a bill their constutients were agains.

With bribes and intimidation. I think you need to call out the "progressive" of the democrat party. It's them who is hijacking this country and running it in the ground.

What in the hell will everyone do when there is no more money to steal? Or if the majority of the US workforce is Govt. Where's the tax money coming from then?

So..... explain why there were some Dem votes against the bill...but not a single GOP vote for it.
I think that proves that Dems are allowed to think for themselves while Repubs are forbidden to do so.
That is anti-American & dangerous!
(I think you'll see that change now as many Repubs will begin to reject the "Political Suicide" pact their leaders have forced on them...& vote their conscience.....not party dogma!)

He left us with a balanced budget and a growing economy. He DID NOT get thousands of American soldiers killed for no reason. He didn't have any buildings knocked down by terrorists during his tenure (it would have been hard for him to prevent 9/11 since he was no longer President when it happened).
