there is a reason the unions bemoan this so

they are disproportionately impacted by it. to the tune of 73% vs the 14% for non-union manufacturing. need more reason to accept that they killed the golden goose ? now all loss is bad news but its a natural flow of labor to the low cost provider as a product goes from high tech to commodity. there is no changing that.

One would think that the huge drop in union jobs would cause the union leadership to re-think their positions.

This would seem to indicate their willingness to lose millions of jobs, while continuing to promote their socialistic policies. But, to what ends?

their wallets (union management that is). its all they know and the mob is not hiring.
 
Another nail in the coffin of unionism.

Get rid of special treatment for unions and they will either survive as helpful protectors of the downtrodden or disappear. Then American manufacturing jobs will return to the extent that they can.
