The ICC's credibility is in for a serious beating. Not only has the Kenyan case exposed its soft underbelly, there is an increasingly unhelpful perception that it is biased. Syria is a serious case in point. Assad has committed grievous crimes against humanity, worse than Slobodan Milosevic, the deceased former president of Serbia. And this in the 21st century when the rallying call has been 'never again!' Despair has began to set in with regard to avenues of international recourse to justice. Weaponization and militarization are set to make a quantum leap.
