Uh, you must have had your eyes and ears closed. Conservatives despised many of Bush's policies and stated so. So much so that the Republicans lost their majority in 2006 due to conservatives staying home. Bush destroyed the Republican party. Now Obama and Nancy are doing the same to the Democrat party. Yeah, the American people wanted change. What they got was socialism. Unfortunately for the Dems, this was, and still is, a center-right country. 2010 will likely prove that. We'll see won't we?

America has always operated on a blend of capitalism and socialism. There's nothing new here. 2010 will only prove what it has proven for our entire lifetimes - that America likes to play musical chairs with elections and the Parties in power switch back and forth constantly. No Party stays in power longer than two terms and some no longer than one.
