From a political perspective, I am a Marxist-Leninist-Maoist who has also been influenced by Daniel DeLeon, Frantz Fanon, Alexandra Kollontyai, Fred Hampton, Silvia Federici, George Jackson, and others.
I am married and reside in southern California, where I enjoy political organizing, surfing, bodybuilding, and general fitness and well-being.
Vocationally speaking, I am a retired Nurse Anesthetist.
And, time permitting, I enjoy political debate and look forward to engaging others at the House Of Politics.

You can expect A barrage of vitriol and hate from the right wing godbotherers.
None of it makes sense but that's their MO.
Mark is especially vocal about everything that his Bible thinks it means. He's not real smart but he tries hard. TAT is as ignorant as a stump. Block the ignorant fool before you start.

i'm not sure anyone here really knows what your beliefs are, at least those on the right. everything that isn't republican seems to be to them "socialist!" or more common recently, "communist" but I doubt they have any idea of what that is.

There is a lot of truth to what you said, pjmret. So, it's good that one of the reasons for my presence here is to appeal to and possibly recruit disillusioned Democrats and Greens toward the communist movement rather than to reason with reactionaries. Be well.

Welcome. I am sorry you find Marxism attractive in spite of its failure to benefit nations that got trapped under its fascist ideology.

I was just about to post a similar message to Redflag.

After 41 tries, no country has become the successful Communist "poster boy" to illustrate the wonderfulness of Marxism.

How many tries and failures does it take to finally get you to admit that the possibility of happening upon a successful implementation of Marxist theory is not worth the pain the country would suffer in the effort?
