Health care protests turn violent

I suppose that must be it. To me, somebody poking pins into a doll isn't half as scary as a bunch of unhinged individuals going around hurling bricks, insults, and threats.

But, that's just me.

Unhinged is the key word.

When you intentionally combine misinformation with fearmongering hysteria you always have a certain portion of a group that acts out in a mentally unhinged manner.

The teabaggers have way over played their hand. Not only are they seen as dangerous but there are large groups popping up on the other side to showing how rational people CAN fully express themselves without the insults and violence.

It's COFFEE for me... those guys can keep their bitter tea.

I think the government letting 10's of millions Americans DIE, rather then assist them is a far better idea also....
Just let the health care industry treat the US people like a product of which some just ain't so profitable. So civilized huh PLC

People get loud and angry when they feel as if they're being ignored.

Unfortunately, they sometimes also get ugly.

Democrats stubbornly refused to listen to the tremendous public outcry against their health care package. They attempted to minimize the protests and marginalize the protesters. But now that they've shoved the bill down America's throat, they're feigning shock -- and even fear -- at the vehemence of the backlash.

They say they're being terrorized by potentially violent opponents of the health care bill, and produce stacks of letters, e-mails and phone messages they claim make them fearful of their lives.

Sprinkled among them are what may be a few legitimate threats. This is a wholly unacceptable way to react to losing a political fight, and should be dealt with seriously by law enforcement agencies.

But most of what is being passed off as menacing is nothing more than old-fashioned hate mail. Much of it is crude and offensive, a lot of it is inappropriate, but it doesn't rise to the level of a threat.

The Demoncats ignore the will of the people then cry when the people attack them.

What a bunch of whining pussies. And their brain dead followers whine too.

Come November, liberalism dies. Yahoo!!!!!!!!!!

So you must have missed the poll after the Health Insurance Reform Bill was signed into Law... 49% in favor to 40% opposed.

And that's before a single advantage has even had time to kick in. The Republicants are using the only thing they have fear & violence, as they are void of any real ideas. Heathcare Reform is a perfect example. They now fully admit the system was broken and needed major repair. Yet what did THEY do the multiple times they had total control??? That would be a repeated nothing.

The Republicant game of shame goes like this:

A) Don't do anything to help people no matter how urgently needed to keep those big business political contributions coming in.

B) Vilify the Democrats when they take over and actually do something saying they've had the answer all along.

C) Lose the debate and "wink wink" the public that they are against violence while they continually inspire their most radical fringe followers actually to commit violence. All because they didn't get their way... which as shown above was no way at all.

GALLUP: Nearly half of Americans give a thumbs-up to Congress' passage of a healthcare reform bill last weekend, with 49% calling it "a good thing." Republicans and Democrats have polar opposite reactions, with independents evenly split.

The findings, from a March 22 USA Today/Gallup poll conducted one day after the bill received a majority of votes in the U.S. House of Representatives, represent immediate reactions to the vote.

Americans' emotional responses to the bill's passage are more positive than negative -- with 50% enthusiastic or pleased versus 42% angry or disappointed -- and are similar to their general reactions.

TG, you're just confusing the issue with facts. Facts sometimes get in the way of strong unsupported opinions.

The American people were totally opposed to this health care package, which was crammed down our throats by the Democrats, whom no one wanted to be in power.

See? Ignore the facts, and opinions become quite clear.

Amazing how libs ignore the facts and then try to claim the public wants this piece of sh*t.
