Raped teens and women's dead body's , burned babes and people alive beheaded baby's And cut a child out of a woman alive all while high on drugs. Did so with the intent of pissing The nation Of Israel off enough to come after them with major force in order to draw other terrorist groups in Lebanon and the Nation Of Iran and Others such as Yemen to join the Gaza terrorist to attack Israel at the expense of their own people .

No, the British turned the entire area over to the UN and a two state map was produced awarding each group its own specific territory. Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Iraq all told the Palestinians to evacuate so they could come in like gangbusters and shoot everything that moved. Israel protested that the borders of the territory they were given were indefensible and they organized there defenses and they defeated the Arab alliance. Some Palestinians refused to leave, and they became Israeli citizens, other Palestinians were driven off their property by Israelis.

The Arab countries' armies were mostly corrupt, poorly trained and incompetent. Palestinians who fled were refused the right to return to their lands.
