Ah the Canadian seal hunt. That would make for an interesting thread if someone wanted to start it.

THat being said, I am not surprised to hear the ice is thicker than usual. I will gladly admit to being a climate change flip flopper. This year in the north was quite cold. As was last year. The sea ice near me showed up later, but is still here and by my guess will be here for at least another month.

High food prices are a result of the misguided idea of using food crops to produce fuel.

Should global climate change disrupt the growing of crops, as many are predicting, then food shortages will be exacerbated further.

I don't know whether the allegations of global warming being Gore's "meal ticket" have any basis, but any article that repeats the already debunked story about his claiming to have invented the interned it highly suspect, IMO.
