WASHINGTON (AP) -- In a startling revelation, President Donald Trump's new lawyer said Wednesday that Trump repaid his personal attorney $130,000 in a deal made just before the 2016 election to keep porn star Stormy Daniels quiet about her tryst with the president, directly contradicting Trump's past statements about the hush money.

See? Trump does pay his debts sometimes. I wonder why he didn't just say so, instead of telling the country he didn't know about it?

I have a hard time understanding that it was Giuliani, not one of the brightest people, who revealed that. Was it sanctioned by Trump? Was Giuliani stepping out of bounds? I expected to see a bevy of tweets denying he paid for silence. It seems Trump is now allowing the public believe that he did have relations with Stormy.

So far, I haven't heard any tweets about this one. I'm not sure just why.
The issue isn't so much a dalliance with Stormy as it is paying her hush money.

which Trump "didn't know about" yet paid back, for a cover up of a tryst that "didn't take place." It would be possible to maintain that Trump isn't lying and didn't pay her off to keep her quiet, but it would be very, very difficult.
