Fate of the hostages

For hamas, a live hostage is a huge asset. Killing them loses a valuable bargaining chip.

For the zionistas, a live hostage is a liability; for two reasons

1) Each dead hostage is a chance to point the finger at hamas.

2) More importantly. many of the hostages will see what it is like to be the victims of the grotesque zionist state.
Some of them may been assisting the locals save lives. They would then tell a story that is unpalatable to the Netanyahu clique.

For these, and other reasons, the lives of these people hangs in the balance.

I would be interested in members view, as this topic is independent of which "side" one is on.
