Conversation w/ a Gay Lib

I had a long conversation with an old friend last night. He is a gay man living in Manhattan - (I know you libs can't believe I could have a gay friend, but its true). We don't discuss politics much.

Of course, he is a lib and voted for BO. He had a huge party at his place the night of the election and he said he was never happier than that night.

Well, things have changed. He is disgusted with BO and both parties - he always hated the Rs of course. He wants Socialism now and BO is not delivering. He also wanted BO to imprison W, Cheney, etc...so you know his mindset...

The interesting thing is he is flying to Argentina to seek employment there and may stay there. While I will miss him, I wished him good luck and asked if he could take a few more like him.

Now why can't the rest of you America haters do the brave thing and leave.

I wonder if your friend realized that Obama is opposed to gay marriage before he voted for him?

I also wonder whether he listened to the pres himself, or to what his opponents were saying about him? Obama may not exactly be a conservative, but he is a long way from being as far left as his detractors thought he was, or as far left as some of his supporters thought he was.

As for Argentina, that is an interesting choice. That isn't exactly known as a leftist state. I wonder how they feel about gays there?

Obie has done at least one thing with which I agree, he has changed the Federal hiring rules to include transgendered people as a protected class. For too long this birth defect has been misconstrued as moral turpitude or some kind of homosexuality--which it is not.
