    Pennies. Those useless coins nobody wants, that are not legal tender for all debts public and private need to go.
    You have not been able to buy anything with one for quite some time so why keep them ?
    One dollar bills cost 57cents to make and last 22 months. A dollar coin costs 10 cents to make and last 50 years.
    So ditch the penny, shift coins to the right and there is your place for dollar coins. Ditch the dollar bill and bring back the two dollar bill. Cash registers are easily reprogrammed these days for tax purposes so there goes your last excuse.
    Other than coin collectors like me no one will much care or notice but we will save, no pun intended, a mint in costs.
