And now let's hear from Sarah... Tina... uh...

Your source is Media Matters, and they name an individual outlet-the AP. Please note that OReilly has not made a correction. The other outlets have.

AP is not an individual news outlet. They are an organization that collects news stories from other reporters all over the U.S. and then allows individual news outlets to re-print those stories in their own papers (or on the air).

All the news shows listed made corrections as they should. O'Reilly is not a news show he is an opinion show. Facts can be right or wrong but opinions are opinions.

Next, the guest on a news or opinions show is permitted to say whatever they will say.

Don't be ridiculous. That is an outrageous statement, and it was not contradicted in any way by the host.

What they re not permitted to say what they want? When did we move to Communist Russia? Why would the host contradict an opinion given by a guest? Is Bill Maher expected to contradict all the statements made by all his guests?

Yes, sometimes outlets favor candidates, and that is an example of bias. You might recall the negative stories on Gore when he first faced Bush.

Fox News is nothing more than a propaganda outlet for the GOP. It is headed by a GOP operative, we've seen emails explicitly directing how stories were to be handled, it's just not a news outlet. There is bias, and there is propaganda. Fox is propaganda.

When you have grown used to all liberal all the time a bit of balance can be shocking.

More seriously, yes Fox is biased to the right and CNN is biased to the left. But it would be grossly in error to say that Fox only presents GOP points of view. Fox has more liberal personnel than any of the other stations have conservative personnel.

And as listed above, CBS still rates FOX as the number two most accurate news.

What a ridiculous question-the issue is not free speech. The issue is the Fox Business program giving air time to a nut case who said that the President of the United States likes to defecate on our allies. You have a middle school understanding of free speech. You and I have free speech-the networks are not obligated to let us have air time.

CNN is not biased to the left. It has an endless stream of conservatives and has spend endless hours on the "Tea Party Movement". Fox is simply a propaganda arm of the GOP. It literally ran the direction that the Bush WH told it to during the Bush administration. You have no conception of how bizarre that is in a democratic nation, apparently. [Small d democratic.]

Of course the issue is free speech. Apparently you don't like what someone said and apparently you wish that Fox would censor them.

Free speech is actually pretty simple. The constitution guarantees our rights to it in a mere 6 words.

Sufficient evidence has already been provided to convince any reasonable person that CNN is biased. Having conservatives on air only proves that they are not 100% biased. If having conservatives on the air proved that they had NO bias then when Fox has liberals it would prove that it has NO bias too.

But both CNN and Fox do have bias. They are still judged to be the top two most accurate networks on air.
