Keith Olbermann has been fired by Current TV and has been replaced by Eliot Spitzer, previously of CNN.

Olbermann's tenure at Current lasted less than a year. Previously he had been employed at MSNBC, where his "Countdown" program ran for eight years.
In 2011, Olbermann left MSNBC for Current, but apparently things weren't going so smoothly. Current founders Al Gore and Joel Hyatt

Firing Keith Olbermann is like CBS firing Katie Couric.

Ha ha
Keith got canned from both jobs for being a pain in the butt and not getting along with co-workers. His fans over at the Democratic Underground and Kos are probably jumping out windows about now

lets just say the Peter Principle kicked in when he ventured away from ESPN.
the snarky sports commentary fit well there, it has very limited appeal elsewhere.

What happened to former ESPN SC anchor Dan Patrick? Didnt he get fired for something? And get this Did yall know Oprah Winfrey used to work for WJZ TV Baltimore? She was fired for mention about White people on the news and i remember her.

Remember Maryland is very liberal in politics just like Massachusetts is and Baltimore is somewhat corrupted like Chicago is.

had he been right wing you guys would be bowing to him like RUsh.

You missed the point...as you usually do. A bombastic outspoken leftist NEVER makes it for long in radio or TV because he/she is always LYING and spouting foolishness.

See the difference?

No he doesn't. He does not understand that comedians turned pundit are something only lefties can take seriously. Dennis Miller realizes he is still a comedian, thats what seperates him from the others. And a comedian turned ANGRY pundit is something onlky a moonbat could love.
