Well it was brought to my attention by what I consider an excellent source, that Britain is not a little bit behind the push for the US to stay in Af/Pak.It was explained to me that although Britain has released ties to India "officially", that they still consider it, resource-wise "theirs" and therefore any threat to it, a threat to them. And hence our government's involvement because they seem to have the same attitude about the US, ie: officially we won our independance, unofficially we must always fight for the crown..If this is the case, I for one am not going to wear a red coat and die on behalf of Britains lingering economic interests in India..fer crissakes.
