Halloween Palin Prop Sparks Controversy In WeHo

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (AP) ― A Halloween decoration showing a mannequin dressed as vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin hanging by a noose from the roof of a West Hollywood home is drawing giggles from some passers-by and gasps of outrage from others.

The mannequin is dressed in brunet wig, glasses and a red business suit. Another mannequin dressed as John McCain emerges from a flaming chimney.

Chad Michael Morisette, who lives in the house, told CBS 2 News that drivers and bus passengers have been stopping to snap pictures of the macabre scene.

Morisette says the effigy would be out of bounds at any other time of year, but it's within the spirit of Halloween.

He says "it should be seen as art, and as within the month of October. It's Halloween, it's time to be scary it's time to be spooky."

I suppose that since it was done in the predominately FAG area of West Hollywood that it'll become mandatory! Lord knows that you can't point out hatred from the left without "disenfranchising" the silly little pillow-biters who did it in the first place.

Sorry, but I REFUSE to be a party to the whole "PC" bovine excrement. When people do incredibly stupid and thoughtless things like that, I have absolutely NO problem going right back at them as hard and fast as I can, and if they don't like it, TOUGH, they shouldn't have started it in the first place.

Personally, I feel this is as distasteful as the hanging Obama from last week and the Obama being chased by McCain in KKK robes. I love a good laugh as much as anyone, but not at the expense of hateful and racists images. These displays all cross the line IMO.

the hanging obama was in my state and it was taken seriously in a matter of hours we had cia and secret service out to investigate.

I did not read that I am repeating what a co worker said. I only knew about it. but because it was my state it was buzz buzz through out my work.

they could have got fbi and cia confused, they said secret service too but again I heard it and didnt read it I know from the local news that they said everyone was outraged
