It is obvious that the media creation adores putin and envies his methods and poll ratings...

The fact that Ryan Routh was “an ardent supporter of the Ukraine and wants to see Russia attacked, and clearly saw Trump as a threat to Ukraine's future receipt of US military support,” cannot be hidden, says former US State Department official and retired CIA intelligence officer Larry Johnson.

“I'm sure that the Kiev regime is going to distance itself from this. The Kiev regime, along with the apparent support of the CIA, has put together a death list of Americans. A list of Americans who ought to be killed. It's not a list to send them nasty letters. Scott Ritter's on it, I think Douglas McGregor's on it. It is not out of line for them to have done this,” Johnson tells Sputnik.

He describes the fact that Routh was apparently privy to Trump’s whereabouts as “puzzling”, given the latter does not make his schedule public.

...

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has vowed to reshuffle the US school system to stamp out "wokeness" – neo-liberal ideas including those concerning race and gender, advocated by "radical left maniacs."

Trump proposes cutting federal funding for schools and programs promoting "critical race theory" (CRT). According to the GOP, modern CRT studies are biased against white and Asian people, statehood and law.

Trump vows to crackdown on "transgender insanity" at schools which were pressured to adopt new Title IX regulations on students’ gender identity under the risk of losing federal funding under Joe Biden. The rules include providing access to female lockers and bathrooms for biological males self-identifying as "girls" and allowing transgender athletes to participate in school sports "matching their identity".

Trump also plans to subject "accreditation agencies" to scrutiny over "wokeism", and provide alternatives for educational institutions.

He also looks to shut the federal Department of Education, slammed by conservatives as a hotbed of "wokeism".
US conservatives are not the only force fighting against neoliberal ideas.

In November 2022, President Vladimir Putin signed a decree to strengthen the traditional spiritual and moral values in Russia's social life, whereas in December 2023 he inked a law reinforcing traditional values in the Russian "sovereign education system."

Upbringing and educating children in line with traditional values are considered a necessary condition for forming national identity and protecting Russia's sovereignty. From September, children will receive courses on family studies and the defense of the Homelan

Fake President: Decoding Trump's Gaslighting, Corruption, and General Bullsh*t

"...we’ve had great presidents and awful ones. All had flaws.

But never before has there been one so provably corrupt,
impulsive, ignorant, incompetent, untruthful, work lazy,
lacking empathy, antidemocratic, racist, sexist, ruthless, bullying,
petty, arrogant, and endlessly self-centered and self-enriching.

It’s not easy to meld all these different handicaps into one sentient human
form.

Yet in a feat worthy of a mass illusionist, the current Oval Office
occupant has nonetheless convinced millions—though still a minority
of Americans—to support him to spite themselves

...

Masterly is usually good…but not when it applies a batch of awful traits
that we wouldn’t accept in a friend, family member, coworker, or neighbor.

And certainly shouldn’t in a person chosen to govern nearly 330 million
people in the world’s oldest democracy.

“Where other people have a soul,” said the wise Bill Moyers, “Trump has a black hole.”

review

What really struck me about Fake President was not the retelling of the familiar dissembling's of our current President, but rather its expression of the consistency, broad themes, and the contexts of Trump's communication. Like many Americans I consume Trump's utterances on a daily basis and in small portions. But the beauty of Fake News is the it sketch's out the Trump Presidency out in broad strokes, and confirms the notion, that there are no blunders or missteps being made by Trump. In fact it is all very methodical and intellectually consistent. In that sense the Trump Presidency becomes in my mind more troubling and sinister. Trump is no fool, and therefore more dangerous.

Another aspect of Fake President is that Green and Nader is that they place Trump's positions in their policy contexts, and in real time. After all, it is one thing to read Plato's Republic, but quite another to read it with the backdrop of the Peloponnesian War. Again and again, Fake News take a Trump policy initiative which on its face seem innocuous in itself or just rhetorical and places it in the larger context and our ominous American direction.
