I'm not against giving Welfare to folks who need it to get back on track and working. I'm not against helping mentally or physically disabled folks or babies. What is wrong, at a basic level, is to "encourage", by policy, that Government will take care of you. And allowing people to be IRRESPONSIBLE for themselves.

I heard him say it the first time when Joe the Plumber asked him and he said, "that we need to spread the wealth". There is video on you tube.

The second time was in the long interview done I think in 2003 or 2005 where he is not even DEBATING whether it is right or wrong to take hard working folks money and give it to lazy folks. He is discussing HOW WE (HE) CAN CHANGE THE CONSTITUTION to do exactly that. It was a very revealing speech by him that shows clearly that he wants to "CHANGE" our basic way of life.

He is not denying wanting to "spread the wealth". I believe in people paying their fair share of taxes. I don't believe in taking from the working class and giving to the lazy class.
