We the People in order to form a more perfect Union! Demand the CONGRESS of these United States of America convenes and start the long process to add the 28th Constitutional Amendment!

Whether you are from one party or another, or perhaps you are none affiliated. The great majority of the American electorate is just plain sick and tired of the establishment status quo!

Our elected representatives have failed us, for too long our Senators and Congressmen or women have only represented their own agendas, or the agenda of the groups and lobbyists that have paid for their campaigns.

Don’t think our founding fathers ever intended Public Service in the United States Congress to be someone’s lifetime career. It’s obvious to me and clearly understood that this task is a long process, which may or may not succeed. But this has to start somewhere, if united we stand, we the people will succeed.

The 28th Constitutional Amendment;

shall limit the number of term(s) that any person can be elected to the United States Congress, In the Senate: any person may not be elected as a United States Senator more than three consecutive or individual terms, and in the United States Congress: any person may not be elected as a Congressman or Congresswoman no more than three consecutive or individual terms, any person may not serve more than six consecutive or individual terms combined in the Senate or Congress of the United States of America.

Term limits will not change the platinum parachute.
It would not change Kstreet influence.
It would save Kstreet money.
It would hamper congressional oversight as its new guys learning the ropes all the time.
There is one solution which is even less likely to happen. Remove money from the election process.
In addition to the gravy of no more tv ads or mail boxes full of flyers and Robo calling pols could be free to serve the interests of their constituents and maintain their principles.
Wouldn't that be nice ? You might want your guy around longer.
Media can publish platforms, debates can be held so the people can know what to expect.
Rob will be along to tell us why this us a bad idea and he will make great points.
But just maybe if pols were serving you the idea of that parachute might not seem so bad.
