1.  Attacking homosexual behavior instead of the homosexual himself is nothing more then a clever semantical dance.


2.   Falwell's comments do not make consistently make any distinction between person and behavior.  He condemns the individual.


3.  Wright's heritage if black liberation theology  - that came out of a legacy of forced segregation and civil rights.  Are you saying that because Falwell's religion condemns homosexuality that it's ok but because Wrights theology condemns white racism (in his view) - it's not ok?


Smells suspiciously like a double standard at work.




Really - you don't think so?  You think it's ok to express hatred and intolerance towards some groups but not towards others?


In terms of AIDS - that isn't just Wright speaking.  That's a belief held by many people in the black community.
