How dare one of your seemingly intelligent politicians go on TV and say he is not in politics for the money after receiving a substantial pay rise. This amount the normal Australian will never earn as an entire wage.
The pay rise alone, the average Australian is expected to survive on less than a quarter of that.
How terrible is it that the government is driving this country into such despair and destruction and you then have the cheek except exorbitant pay rises.
So my first challenge is give back all of your pay rises to the Australian people as it is our money in the first place.
You seem to forget we are your employers and I, and as I am sure that no other Australian was asked if you deserve a pay rise. If we were we certainly would Not have given it.
We see in the news all the time that we have people with children living on the street, in cars, and in tents because they can’t pay the average rent of approximately $350 a week let alone any of the necessities like food and utilities because these are all going up again.
My second challenge is how about you clean up our backyard before you consider these boat people who are only contributing to our demise.
And the $10,000 you so graciously give to these people and not us, to buy white goods and other things that they will need to start their new lives in housing you give them before you give to Australians.
We had the GST....Politian’s got a pay rise.
Now we have Carbon Tax....Politician’s get a pay rise.
What will you come up with next year? A boat people tax because we need to hand out more to them....Then the Politian’s will get another pay rise.
My third challenge is have the guts to stand up for the people that pay you and say no to these boat people. And stop treating us like idiots and finding new ways to get more money out of us to line your own greedy pockets.
I as an Australian am sick and tired of hearing how Politian’s are misappropriating our funds by stealing, or using their Credit Cards paid by us to enjoy escorts and the like, or how Politian’s enjoy family Holidays on the taxpayers money, unnecessary overseas trips at our expense.
Fourth Challenge is that all Politian’s are to be Audited by an independent every twelve months before pay rises come into effect. And the outcome of this is to be published for all Australians to see if our monies have been used the way you promise. Then we as a nation will decide if you deserve a pay rise or the sack with no Politian pension at all.
Your government departments talk about helping the elderly keep their independence by helping them stay in their own homes with assistance. What assistance? These people are assessed by the powers that be and are told that they can go into a home so long as they sell their properties and give the money to these institution and pay nearly all their pensions into day to day to live there. Or if they want to stay in their own homes then they can pay through the nose to have someone do some very light house work, or lawn mowing etc.
Fifth challenge – Look after the Australian elderly now.
Wow it is the small things that would make this a perfect nation to live in instead families are leaving Australia and going to China and other places to live a more productive & deserving life.
We used to be the lucky country; we are on the rise to becoming a third world country.
Wake up Australia we need Julia Gillard and all the other Politian’s to get off our gravy train.
