Prop them up, Like I said and you quoted, we feed them Intel, arm them, give them photo ops, work with them, and don't call them on there misdeeds. We do what ever we can to make sure they are "Stable" because stable =better fuel prices... If we really cared about "democracy" in the middle east...we would not be over there kissing them and giving them arms while they beat down woman in  the street for not having escorts or not dressing the way they want. If we want to talk about Democracy in the Middle east, lets be noble and do more then just talk while we take actions clearly against those actions...maybe then some more in the middle east would at least not hate us as much...they may not love us, but we don't need love, I would settle for at least a small amount or respect for trying to help the people, not our pocketbook.

And if you don't think the house of Saud has been in trouble, they have very little support from its people, the only thing they have is they make sure to "deal" with those who dissent to much...Why do you think Bin Laden gets so much support attacking his own nation? Not that I want Bin Laden to be the instrument of change
