"Sean Hannity's bullyboy meltdown last fall over economist Robert Kuttner's suggestion that the economy is in trouble was memorable both for its boorishness and for its cluelessness. As Hannity accused Kuttner of using "DNC talking points" for political gain, he also insisted the economy was doing very well, thank you, under President Bush. Yet in less than a week, Hannity was agreeing that the economy as "a mess" and, a bit later, that we are "flat on our back."
