There are many ways that schools could be improved, some of which cost money and are, therefore, not likely to happen. Even the ones that don't cost money aren't likely to happen, as someone would have to give up power, prestige, and perhaps a fancy salary.Setting a goal that 100% of the students will be able to pass a difficult test is not realistic, nor would it happen regardless of which reforms were enacted.The first improvement, one that would not cost but would actually save money, would be to close down the Department of Education. Of course, as I just said, someone would have to give up power, prestige, and a fancy salary to accomplish that.
