On July 30th of 2009, Rush Limbaugh announced that he "secret" diet that the was on, was the 1500 calorie/day diet from Quick Weight Loss Centers, of Florida. He claimed that he now weighed 210 pounds, down 80 pounds from the 290 pounds that he was at, when he started the diet on March 9th, 2009.
On August 13th, the people at CalorieCount/About.com published an article, titled "Lessons Learned From Rush Limbaugh's Weight Loss" questioning the veracity of Limbaugh's claim. He lost eighty pounds, in 21 weeks, without the use of drugs or exercise? It seemed to defy the Laws of Nature.
The next day, August 14th Limbaugh gave that website a piece of his mind, denying the suggestions being made in the article's comment section, that something like drugs, or bi-pass surgery, was involved. If you're a 24/7 member, you can read it here "It's a Fascinating Phenomenon: Limbaugh Weight Loss Deniers" (Members Only)
Limbaugh denied both. But, you know what he didn't deny? Lap-band surgery. That set us to snoopin', 'cause that's what curious patriots do.
What we discovered, in Limbaugh's transcripts, is simply amazing. One can only wonder why Limbaugh didn't just send out a press release.
And here's a little addendum that we did, that shows that Limbaugh was BS'n on March 20th, about the March "celebrity golf outing".
