It was reveled that none of the money was going to help the dying in India, despite the belief that it was, but was used to build more Catholic institutions to produce more nuns.Also, there were interviews with former nuns who had gone to India to aid Mother Teresa in her work with the dying, only to be told by her that their purpose was not to reduce their suffering ("...it brought them closer to God...). The former nuns had quit in disillusionment and left the church altogether.
