Actually... you know what... just out of some insane, nutty, curiosity... maybe I'm morbid...Question: Can anyone name one singular oil field that is currently US owned... that was acquired through military victory? I do not mean one where a US based corp, purchased lease rights in another country where they have to pay royalties.Can you name an oil field that we sent troops into, conquered or stole it from the locals, and now own it, where we don't have to "buy" the oil from the local government, or company within said country. I want the name of the field, and country it's in.I am not suggesting that one does not exist. I am asking to know.
