Written as if there has not been a continuous process of deportation for decades.

In fact, frump, in his first term, was a back-slider compared to previous presidents

"..Deportation and removal from the United States occurs when the U.S. government orders a person to leave the country. In fiscal year 2014, Immigration and Customs Enforcement conducted 315,943 removals. Criteria for deportations are set out in 8 U.S.C. § 1227.

In the 105 years between 1892 and 1997, the United States deported 2.1 million people. Between 2001 and 2008, during the Presidency of George W. Bush, about 2.0 million people were deported, while between 2009 and 2016, during the Presidency of Barack Obama, about 3.2 million people were deported.

During Donald Trump’s first presidency the number of illegal immigrants deported decreased, though partially due to decreased illegal immigration itself under Trump. It was lower than during the Obama presidency.
