I wouldn't say that I would prefer this ticket to any MAGA candidate, but the problem seems quite clear: after Murphy serves a term or perhaps two, then the nominee for the next president would be Rice, a Black woman, and although I voted for Kamala, it is pretty clear that a Black woman would be less likely to win than any male candidate, because there are obviously a lot of voters who would vote against a Black woman candidate.

In my opinion, Harris ran a superior campaign, and she lost because she did not manage to get the huge turnout that Joe Biden had. She may or may not be a better speaker than Susan Rice, I can't say because I have not heard Susan Rice speak. I am merely suggesting that if the goal is for the Democrats to elect a president for four consecutive term, this does not seem as likely as other possible tickets.

I do not doubt that Susan Rice is competent. I would vote for her over anything MAGA.
But I think that the Democrats need to win and win big over Shitshizpants and Shady Vance. Could Rice do this?
