Many states have same day registrations allowing anyone to vote simply by claiming they are residents and are eligible.  The millions of same day registrants who voted had their ballots cast and counted long before their information was or could be verified.  In other words, millions of crooks could have voted in hundreds of different precincts on nothing more than their word that they were eligible.
